Dayton/Montgomery County Restaurants Offering Takeout/Delivery
As of 9 p.m. on March 15, 2020, restaurants in Ohio can only offer carry-out and delivery services.  The Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau has compiled a list of restaurants that you can still support through carry-out and delivery.

Businesses around our community, the state and the nation are creatively adapting to changes necessary for the health and safety of their workers and patrons. But, business is still OPEN* in downtown Dayton. Small businesses are the heart of our community, and we can all contribute to their success, as well as the livelihoods of employees in the service industry.
There are many ways our community can support local businesses. We’ve put together a list of downtown restaurants and other businesses that remain open with carry out, curbside pickup, or delivery services available (click here).
Many of our local businesses are open normal hours, but you can also support your favorite shop or restaurant by buying a gift card online today, and make future plans to visit.
Downtown businesses — and the thousands of workers who run them behind the scenes each day — depend on all of us. They have been hit hard over the past year, and new mandates to close restaurants and bars, limit gatherings, and other precautionary measures, while necessary, will be an enormous further strain. You can do your part by continuing to support them while they are OPEN*.

DoorDash Now Offers a no-contact delivery
If a no-contact delivery is requested, the Dasher will leave your food in a safe place and alert you when it’s ready for pickup. Here’s how this works if you’d like to request one:
  1. Add instructions. At checkout, update the “Delivery Instructions” section with your request for a no-contact delivery and with details about the drop-off location. Please be specific about the location and instructions.
  2. Text your Dasher. When your Dasher is assigned select the option to text your Dasher. In the message, remind them of your request and consider sending a photo of the drop-off location.
  3. Dasher will confirm drop-off. When your Dasher arrives, they’ll text you that they’ve left your order at the requested drop-off location. You’ll also receive a message in-app that your order has been delivered.
